Easter 2008

All dressed up in their Easter best, Christopher and Kiana had a great Easter day. It was beautfiul outside and the entire family was over for lunch and a huge Easter egg hunt.

Kiana's Laughter

Kiana has been laughing for over a month now for us. It's so cute and she laughs at the silliest of things. check out this video clip of her laughing at daddy.

Pretty in Pink!

Pink is Kiana's favorite color right now. At least it is until she can tell her mommy otherwise. She's 4 months old now and drooling a lot. I think that means her teeth are coming in soon. She loves her big brother Christopher so much. She's fascinated just watching him. We are totally enjoying having our little angel in our family.

Amadors in the New Year!

We had a great time at our New Year's party. We had about 45 or so friends and family together with us and had a great time playing games, karaoke, dancing, eating and just talking.

Happy New Year!

Kiana's first New Year's party. She was dressed to the nines, had her party hat and maraca and actually stayed up till midnight. It was a great celebration to have her in our family.

Kiana at 2 months - 11 lbs 7 oz 22 inches

Kiana is now two months old and doing great. She is growing lots....at 11 lbs 7 oz. she's in the 75th percentile for her weight. She's healthy and happy as you can see from the pics.

Christopher holding his baby sister Kiana. He's still the very protective big brother and still loves his little sister (so far)...though he did mention he was worried she might not share her toys with him when she gets bigger.

My First Halloween

Kiana didn't have any costume in particular. We bundled her up and took her to the trunk or treat as our "Bundle of Joy" but she wore this cute Halloween outfit, complete with Pumpkin gloves.

Six Weeks and she's already a "Superstar"

Ok, so you'll only get that if you know Mary Katherine Gallagher's "superstar" from SNL...

This is Kiana at 6 weeks. And she is definitely a superstar to us. We think she's hit a rythmn as far as sleeping patterns. For the past week, she's gone down at 11pm or so and woken around 4am or 5am then not again till 9am. Not bad. We'll take it over her 1am, 3am, 5am, &7am schedule any day.

Of course I have to add a picture of brother and sister. Christopher lives for holding Kiana, giving her kisses and hugs and protecting her. So far, he has been the "perfect" older brother. Let's see how long that lasts once Kiana starts taking his toys.

This is Kiana in her 3rd week, doing what she does best. Sleep. Well, she sleeps well during the day and still is up at nights. At her check-up with the doctor on Friday, she passed all tests with flying colors. She now weighs 8 lbs 10 oz and measures 20 1/4 inches. Doctor says she's doing really well and is perfect. Of course she is.
